From the moment our pēpi, Te Amiorangi, arrived into Te Ao Mārama, something shifted in me. I knew I didn't want to spend his childhood missing the moments that matter because I was at work. So I decided to try and make something work and that's where Pēpi Amio was born.

Pēpi Amio is a kaupapa close to my heart - creating bold, colourful prints and eventually clothing for pēpi Māori (and allies!). Because I've always believed in creating pathways for our people, and Pēpi Amio is just another pathway. Another ara to connect our tamariki to who they are, where they come from, and how taonga our culture truly is.
